Brilliant post Remus- Charlie Brooker and that uniquely British style of humourous intellectual critique are sorely lacking on Swedish tv... God I miss it!
So nice to hear someone else (and far more eloquent) than myself ripping into MTV's finest for a change.
Genuine quote from the clip:
Spoiled Girl (screaming): "You have ruined my life!"
For anyone interested this was her tearful response to her mother on receiving a $67,000 Lexus for her 16th birthday.
Ironically of course, in a sense her mother actually has. IDIOTS!

I weep for the future.

This i why i'm gonna conquer the world and ban sweet 16 celebrations.
-
Oh dear, stupidity is in top these days.(if i would have had at my 16 birthday s anniversary a bike like a present i would have said thanks a lot!!)
Anyway,85% is parents fault!(so don t say Poor her mother! she partially deserve it)@gaieus said:
I don't know which one of the last two I'd take if I really had to choose.
Well the one in the left is for ladies ..

So in this case "sweet 16" is an oxymoron. I guess raising my now married daughter in near abject poverty (I am an architect afterall) was actually doing her a favor. She's now a grown up sensible woman who would be the first to take that little snot and her mother and beat them senseless with their own designer handbags (Filled with bricks of course)
