i did this a long while back. . .
Very well done. but sad... I used to have a red bug. Actually my wife wanted it. as with the other VW's we had-- a death trap with poor heating. Can't really complain about the kombi though, except it kept threatening to die itself. Ah memories...!

My very first car was a beetle, damned heater used to send gas fumes into car (leaded gas those days), almost rolled it twice. Loved the thing, my friends called it 'the pregnant roller skate'.

My first car was also a Beetle. Primer red top, faded blue body and black baja fenders. Ahh.. good times.
