As soon as I saw the vitreous china version presented above, I immediately thought of the stainless steel variety available for detention facilities. I think same bunch of engineers designed this as used to design Greyhound buses. It's a design philosophy called stingy minimalism -

No, but they do grow up texting and playing console games all day, ignoring academics which qualifies them for such jobs.
