Looks great! That's not version 1.5, is it?

Is that even available to evaluate yet?

              Thanks all.

The interface is very easy so far. However, I am a bit disappointed with the results from the tutorial files. Following the tutorials on the help page at the podium site here I do not get the results that are shown. Specifically the first interior shot. I used the exact settings listed and got this:

              http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/sas/Gallery/Eric/4.jpg

When this is what they show should be the result:

              http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/sas/Gallery/Eric/podium-interior1.jpg

There was a problem with the files not being on the download but alexander gave them to me. See this thread.
              http://www.sketchucation.com/scf/viewtopic.php?p=31739#p31739

I don't know if this was the problem, that maybe the files were altered from what they should have been???

              Any thoughts solo? Anyone?

All in all, I am excited to start the down the PR road.

My first thoughts would be that the tutorial was made for version 1.0 and now we have 1.5 and a lot has changed especially the way the renderer handles light, surfaces and general rendering. I would not bother with them really, you seem to have grip on whats happening. And you have a lot of Podiumers around to help whenever you need it.

I will let TBD know of this and Cadalog will get new tutorials and example skippy's out I am sure.

Wow Boo, I'm now getting really jealous. Ross is kicking out some great podium work and now here come Boo man. I started testing again last night but nothing special I'll have to post some results soon. Love this image, Moody!

                    Thanks solo, thanks spence.

BTW, I registered on the Podium forum but have not posted there yet. A little gun shy I guess.

Eric, that is really nice. I've been playing around with Podium myself and have been happy with the results. Keep them coming πŸ˜„

You are absolutely right. However equaly if not more important is texturing. Good texturing makes even bad modelling into great render.
