What would you do...
-
I would kick his ass.Someone take your model and put it on Formfonts?
-
admitedly it was an adapted version, but yes, the model is mine.
-
come on man, more details, what model, did you tell them about it?
-
no, i havent done anything. just thought id get some sound advice from the good people. to be honest i dont really mind either, it would just be nice if they mentioned where they got it from.
-
It seems like asking for some credit is a very reasonable position. I would try to contact the person who posted it and ask for a credit note. If they refuse or ignore then contact Formfonts and explain the situation and what you would like to see done. Good luck.

Hi Remus,
I've sent you a Private Message.

a simple 'adapted from SCF model' will do. thanks alan, i appreciate your concern.

Hi Remus,
Are you talking about the FormFonts Exchange? There are very clear guidelines about only posting content to which you are the copyright holder. Obviously we have to take this on trust to some degree...there is no way we could double-check the entire Net for every single submission. But if you tell us which model it is and show us where they got it from we'll remove it straight away.Or if you'd prefer it, we could add "Adapted from a SCF model by Remus" or whatever.
Ah! Just spotted it...The Venetian blinds. It looks like the only person to have downloaded it so far is me (checking it over...nice clean model BTW) Let me know what you want done and I'll make it happen. I have deactivated it for the time being and made a note of who submitted it. If you want I'll send it to Room 101.

Done. Very generous of you...I'd have been more tempted to kick botty. If this happens to anyone else, just let us know; we won't mess about any.

Good to see it sorted
Mike
