Did you ever turn off all room lighting at night and notice the little (mostly green) eyes glowing in the dark in your computer space?
How many LED (or similar) lights are part of your computer work area?
My count--
Printer- 3
Scanner- 1
Desktop speakers- 1
DSL modem- 5
Monitor- 1
Keyboard- 3
Wacom tablet- 1
CPU tower-2
CD/DVD- 1
AC supply strips- 4
My count is 22, excluding temporary items, such as charging light on PDA, etc.
I'll wager that many system have a much higher count. -

one - front of cpu
one - monitor
one - speakerscoincidentally, they are all blue.
the bottom of my wireless mouse has a light, but can't be seen so didn't count.

My wife complains about the noise, not the light coming from my little corner of the room. Funny, I don't hear anything...
