Background?
-
Hi
i want to make a background in one solid colour, but the only thing i can do is a background that fades to white? how do i do this? in the old versions of SU you made this through window->model info->color i think but i can't seem to find the "color" alternative. instead i found in "styles" a way to set the background but when i choose a blue colour the sky fades from that blue color to white?

You could create a raster file that is the colour of your choice and use it as a background watermark. Don't turn on the sky in styles at all.
You will need to draw someting on the ground plane or else your sky will carry through the complete background. In my Advanced classes, we use this sky: http://www.entouragearts.com/shopexd.asp?id=49
to create a background watermark and it works quite well ( do not maintain the aspect ratio, let it stretch) -
You ought to be able to get a solid background colour as Susan says...by turning off both the sky and ground in Styles, then setting whatever colour you like as a background.
