Various Edge Colors

I am asking this for a colleague. . .Is there a way to ahve various Edge colors in a model. For example, he has an underlay plan from ACAD that he wants to show as one color of edges and his new SU model to be black.

The easiest, and only, way to do this is to go to styles, click the 'edit' tab and thne somewhere in there there's an dropdown box with the option to 'colour by material.' This lets you paint edges to any colour you want with the paint bucket.
