Hi all
sorry if this has been asked before but I'd like to know what rendering plug-in options there are for Mac users (pre-intel).
I don't really want to use Bootcamp as I have to reboot every time I need another mac app.
thanks in advance

Hi and welcome, "lucky man"! The latest (January) release of Kerkythea already has a Mac version.

Good news also that it's completely free (even for commercial use) and the KT community (many of which are members here as well) are really helpful.
There are lots of pre-made materials as well as models (trees and such) for download.Good luck!
PS: Podium doesn't have a Mac version ("coming soon") but it's interface is completely integrated into SU and is very easy to use.

spot on!!

cheers

Might be worth having a look at parallels its $80 but it lets you run windows in a window rather than having to reboot each time.

There's no need to reboot when using KT for Mac...
