Why won't this single triangle fill and make a polygon?

I played with it a bit and couldn't figure it out until I noticed its size. Sometimes very small triangles won't fill. I don't know what the reason for this is, but it's a recognized issue with SU. I scaled it up by 100, traced a side like usual and it filled right in. Then I scaled it by .01 and it works fine. This trick solves the problem created by small faces in Follow Me operations too.
I also found that by selecting the sides and using the Create Face tool, it would create a face.
