I promised Boo I'd make a few trees since I didn't want to help with the forum move...here's one new idea for the foliage pngs (I plan to do several the same style): suggestions?

Here's the green version of a brown tree I posted a while back...I'm thinkin' this tack is better: lt, md, dk pngs but not much color change on each. Whadaya think?

Yeah Sketchy, me too. Here's the rest of the first pose...thru the seasons sorta (if you're using SU5 you can alt-bucket the images and adjust the color quite a bit without exploding the pngs):

here's that brown one so you don't have to go looking for it:

Tom, that "season series" is marvellous. It's really a shame that that line see-through bug still exists in SU
                Thanks for sharing, really!

Thanks, Gai...yeah, 'tis a pity! Guess there are other priorities...? My work around is to still use the sketchy edges as a separate export/layer in renderings.

Archi, thanks...I had a grad school art professor who told the story of selling a gesture drawing with a healthy price tag: some disgruntled "buyer" asked sarcastically how long it took him to produce; he said, "20 seconds and 20 years". So I'll say (for the SU part of the 4 trees) 8 hrs and 8 months...and I still get results like the first of this thread (background "tree"-fillers :`)

EDIT: I have revised the first posted tree...still a background filler but better, I think.

Thank you, Tom, very nice indeed.
I was looking some time for this style of 'accessoires'
Am I free to use them considering that copiing is a true form of admiration?

Tom, your trees rule! I really don't like using any but yours. Your balance between beauty, filesize, and artistic "feel" are unsurpassed.

                          I dub thee "Foliage Man"!

                          Thanks!

Wow, Chuck...wow, all! I blush. Yes, Bert, please do...all posted here by all, beyond the idea of getting C&C, are gifts to the community (and there is no greater compliment than seeing one of your components used in someone else's creation).

                            Best to you all, Tom.
