Some of you may have seen my recent posts concerning the problems I had been having trying to use data survey in SketchUp. Now, if you visit other software forums when you have problems you often get help from other users. Sometimes you get abused for being a newbie or being stupid. But here I have always got quick helpful advice. Never any negative remarks and always more than one individual offering to help. But yesterday I had even better. Greyhead emailed me and asked me to email the data survey I was struggling with. He edited the file for me (staying up late) and sent it back to me with instructions on how to use it correctly. That is the difference between being just a signed up member of yet another forum and the feeling you have here that you really belong to a community with a shared passion.
Just in case we forgot, a big thank you is owed to all those that kept this community alive when the @last forums died. So, Thank You.

And a big thank you, to Greyhead, who has helped reduced my mostly cynical view of the world.
