Radius All Cube Edges - Fillet all 12 edges
-
I just saw this tut by Dave R.
It's exactly why I came here tonight... I was wondering if there's a ruby that will let you input a radius and it will apply that radius "Fillet" (in architectural terms) to all edges of your model, such as a cube...
here's the picture... can't seem to get the Img code to work on it for some reason...

I have the VERY early beginnings of a script to bevel or fillet all edges in an object. I have several projects on the go so I can't say when I'll get around to finishing it.
I am sure someone could script a method to create a beveled cube like the one in that tutorial fairly easily. (Anyone?)

thanks Whaat... thought it would have been done already... but PLEASE DON'T DO IT RIGHT NOW
I'm really looking forward to your developing your current project.

There is a ChamferAlongPath script. I think Ashley could be persuaded to mod it for fillets...

FYI - Ashley is a dude.

Fletch also thought I was a "gal" way back in the past...

man!
Ashley and Kim are very difficult names via email and forums... -
Thx Rick! Ashley answered me that Ashley will not be able to assist, Ashley's too busy right now.

Well, if we have already gone off-topic, one would most probably think that a name like "Csaba" (ending with A - generally a sign of female gender in many Indoeuropean languages*) is a female name. I've had experiences...
There are exceptions - like Andrea in Italian - but they are generally derivatives of other names (like the Greek Andreas in this case).
Oh well, I hope Jim won't notice this OT behaviour...
