    Hi all,

I want to create a scene using sketchup 5. Can someone tell me how to achieve this - or pass on a link that can show me please.

    Thanks
    Geoff

In SU5 it's not called "scene" but "page"... ๐Ÿ˜‰

          Hi again ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I'd like to make like a slide show - or something like a power point display of something I want to draw in sketchup. I sort of want like a step by step display if that makes sense??

What I'm trying to achieve is I'm drawing a bed OK, and I want the first scene to be of the legs along with a measurement beside it and then the next scene to be like the side slats with the measurements beside them and so on and so on and finish with the bits and pieces put together as the complete structure. Maybe it would be easier if I knew how to explode a complete drawing and add the measurements and details to that....??

          Thanks in advance gang
          Geoff

You'll want to place the different components (legs, slats, etc.) on different layers, and turn the layers on/off as needed in the pages.

            My avatar is an anachronism.

Do you know of any video tutorial links that can show me how to do that?

              Thanks
