I have had a head cold for almost 2 weeks now. I seem to get sick most every summer, late summer into early fall. I don't have a fever but my sinus' are messed up, I have headaches (from the sinus pain) and my energy is generally low. Now that I am on a healthy eating path I figured I would not get as sick this year as normal... not so. And now it is having an affect on my food choices. Lower energy and down mentally I will reach for the comfort foods.

I don't know if I am asking for advice or just wearing my heart on my sleeve again but there it is.

    Thanks for listening.

A weekend of football and Twinkies should clear it all up.

      Get well soon mate.

Thanks but seeing that my Tennessee Volunteers got tanked this weekend, I am not feeling much better. Boo Hoo. At least Bama is winning and Auburn lost 💚

          eric,

allow me to suggest you have a look at the site of Michel Montignac, a nutritionist who is revolutionizing his field going against the idea that in order to loose weight you must eat less calories. he developed a whole method based on the concept of glycemic indexes.

i read his book, it made sense to me, and now i am applying a lot of what he says and changing my eating habits.

          enjoy it.
