Hoping there's a method (or ruby) for applying a skin surface to this kayak frame that does not involve the HOURS it would take to create the zillions of faces. Any ideas?

      Thanks,
      Todd

Select the frame and use the From Contours command in the Sandbox.

Could possibly also use "skin.rb" on it as well.

As juju says, the Skin.rb will manage that very well.

You will probably have to do 2 rings at a time and move along.
