Greetings and a Question
-
I've been learning and using SketchUp for a while and recently have been experiencing problems uploading to 3D Warehouse. When I try to upload from SU6 I get the spinning beach ball of death. If I try to upload from SU5 Pro I've been getting an "Invalid Request" screen. It used to work but this seems to have happened since I upgraded to Leopard. Anyone know of a bug or a fix? I've tried someone's suggestion of converting to a GoogleEarth kmz file, still no luck. Is there perhaps a "preference" like file that needs to be trashed and/or reset? Do I need to uninstall and reinstall everything?
Any help is appreciated. I would like to share more models in the warehouse but can't!
Thanks, Maurice.

Hi Maurice,
Yes, there is a known issue currently with Leopard and uploading to the WareHouse (this will hopefully be resolved soon). Until then there is a workaround provided you would like to upload to Google Earth and not particularly the skp model.
- save (i.e. expport) your modell to kmz format
- go to the warehouse in your preferred browser
- upload the file from there (you can only upload kmz files this way - so not for SU but only for GE)
- you can also attach a "thumbnail" to your model (however as far as I know it must be smaller than the "usual" preview window of the model).

Thank you Gaieus, I appreciate the answer. I've tried the Google Earth upload option and it didn't work for me either. I'll try and be patient and wait for the fix.
