I Stumbled upon this humour page that changed my usual frown into a tiny little smile: Couples who shouldn't hyphenate their names

William Shatner and Stevie Nicks = Stevie Shatner-Nicks

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark allies, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

What if Whoopi Goldberg had married Peter Cushing and taken his name?

My brother dated a girl in high school named Dameron Kaye Wood. They talked of marriage for a while.

My mom's maiden name was Cruise...you'll find my parents wedding in Ripley's under the heading "Sailor takes a Cruise".

My bunk mate in basic training was named Seaman, so there we were together: Airman Seaman and Airman Sailor...I much prefered the ribbing I endured over the punishment his name received.

My next door neighbor Mr. Seargent is a retired military man. I'll let you guess his rank.
