Hi Alan, my fellow Wood Man
I have no idea, we don't have that type of tree around here, but it does look like a birch.
-
Very pretty...but it's Photoshop magic. Since when do trees have nipples, belly buttons and thumbs?
-
Hi Joe
I could make a beautiful box that that tree.
Some beautiful wood

Nice PS work there. I feel I should warn ppl, this is what I would consider borderline being deleted. We're an open (free/easy access) community and may have underage ppl visiting as well as some who could view this image as objectionable.
Please do try to keep that in mind when posting. Thx.
-
No Way did I intend anything objectionable Juju, and I really doubt anyone would consider that picture anything but beautiful, PShopped or not.
I know you're just trying to police the forum and I respect that.

Hi guys
I've edited my previous posting. As far as the image is concerned I actually think this a work of art.
I would actually save this as a screensaver.
Alan.

Yep, I know ppl, which is also why this is still here without me or another mod making changes to the contents of the thread. Thx for understanding.

Hi Juju
The troops are back in line. Hand slapped.

Hi all -
I've seen this artist's work first hand in a gallery in Boulder (for a Google outing). The artist uses nudes to project an image onto, there is no PhotoShopping going on here.
The work I've seen is beautifully done, and very classy image projection using the human form as part of the art.
The work I saw was really remarkable and quite beautiful.
Cheers,

that's not the image that got out of hand craig... it's another one that is now on Jim's blog...
-
Craig, do you know the artist's name, and is there a website showing more of his/her work?
-
Hey Joe, I'm not sure who the artist was, but if I have time I'll try to swing by the gallery and ask them.
I was raised by an artist (my Mom) in New York, so I'm used to seeing some amazingly cool things. It's how I ended up in graphic arts myself.
I'll let you know if I find out anything.
Cheers,
- CraigD

Jim, can't find your pic on your blog...? Want to send the pair to a couple of buddies, can you help?
Thanks and best, Tom. -
some of our Boab trees can look that real in depicting human shapes. You don't even have to photoshop them.
Incidently - the aboriginal mythology regarding the boab tree is that the tree annoyed the great snake so he turned it upside down.
cheers

I've decided to go back to nature.
Today a foxglove, tomorrow, who knows
