Boy Kenny that file of yours is a choker!
I came in about 35% behind your numbers.I'm running SU on a 17" 2.33ghz MBP w/ 1.5Gb RAM, ATI Radeon X1600.
It's also a dual-boot system w/ OSX & XP Pro and have given both worlds
a go and prefer to work in Windoze-land w/ SU as the performance is better and
have more control over the GFX card's settings. One advantage that OSX has
over XP is that it will export much higher res stills, which I use a lot.
My projects are much smaller in scale compared to you, so I can get away with
the MBP. But after doing these test today I may have to pickup a newer MBP w/
the nVidia GeForce 8600M GT card which from what I read is more geared to SU/CAD
situations.I can't leave the OSX world entirely (too much invested in SW).
REALLY nice model BTW!!!!
