I just hit another snag. How do I cut a hole in a curved surface? A surface such as a soup can, not solid.

You can make a shaft of the diameter of your hole, position it thru your model where you want the hole, then do intersect and clean it

      Salutations (Best regards) Bert

Here is the help page that explains how to do that. Go to: "Modification Tools", then "Intersect with Model Tool".

Hey, that was the first time I gave advice, as opposed to asking for it, on this MB!

First you (I mean most of the people in general) just lurk then ask finally return what you received to the community.
Knowledge is one of those few things that the more you give away, the more you yourself will have (I hope my "Hunglish" is understandable πŸ˜‰ )
