    hi there ,

    well i need to cancel the following setting in sketch up (snapping to the axes)

    how could i do that ?
    when i draw with the pen , sketch up is trying to improvise what i want to do and i can't put wherever i want my points cause he is snapping to the axes

      zaknbou,

      You cannot turn off snapping at all. The only thing you can do is to zoom in when drawing and try to avoid it.
      Also, you can use guide lines to lock your snapping to (by pressing the shift key) thus disable axis snapping.

        There are, in fact, "snapping" settings in SU (Model Info/Units) but they apply to length (of line) and angle increments. These can be turned off, but inferencing cannot. Which is just as well since SU would be unusable without it -- you would be lost in space.
