Re-ordering of pages in Layout
-
I'm enjoying the new version of Layout and find it much improved.
Couple of things to ask/suggest:
-
Is there a way to change the page order? I see Add/Remove/Duplicate in the menu. I've tried seaching the forums and a generic Google search, but I guess the User group is pretty small at present.
-
when inserting pictures (jpegs, pngs etc) it would be very useful to have a thumbnail pic in the insert select box to help decide which image I want. Not a big deal (Irfanview works fine), but as its beta ... :esmile:

Mozzie,

In the Pages dialogue, you can right click on any Page and select Move up/down... True some arrows on the right for instance could be of better use (especially if you want to move a page way up - right clicking and moving like that can be tedious).
-
Yeah, this whould be a nice improvement - I guess they are going to improve little things like this in the future.

In the pages inspector, if you have the list view active, you can drag/drop the pages.
In the File Open dialog box, the last button in the toolbar is the "View Menu".
You can pick Thumbnail view there. -
Thanks Jeff,
I should really get ,ore into LO soon (though I definitely like modelling better than presenting...)
