      OK, got that app but the file is reported as having no splat contained. Talking about the tramway model.

        The PLY file is a point cloud not a 3DGS gaussian splat.

        If this was a true gaussian splat file it would be much larger than 7.1mb

                importing to meshlab works for me as well, but the import to sktechup makes a crash.

                  I tried it for the first time and it looks nice. I prepare the gaussian splat file with postshot -when it was free-. I add a house to the scene. I render it with sketchup ai.

                    behaviour is new: Su doesn't crash anymore.

                    It loads but model doesn't appear. and there is that error:

                    "rendering engine and splat database isn't initialised correctly"

                    what can I do?
