    When one changes the scale of the model in LO, it changes the pespective also. It looks like "parallel projection". Does anyone else have ths issue?

      @djh to give a viewport a scale the camera has to be in Parallel Projection. Scale is not available with Perspective views.

      If you want to set a scale for a viewport, you should first have set up a scene in SketchUp with the camera set to Parallel Projection with the Camera placed where you want it and then use that scene for the viewport.

      Best practice is to have scenes in the SketchUp for the views you need and to avoid modifying the Camera properties in LayOut. You should not have a dark gray background or a Reset button in the Camera section of the SketchUp Model panel for any viewport.

        @Dave-R
        Thank you for the information.
        My real objective is to import images/files from SU into LO and not have to fiddle with the blue bounding box to fit the images in. I thought, perhaps, using scale would be a good solution, but I need Perspective and not Parallel Projection.
        Do you have a suggestion?

          @djh Scale doesn't make any sense for Perspective views. That's why it is only available for Parallel Projection.

          Create scenes that show the model the way you want to see it in LayOut. When you insert the SketchUp file into LayOut, the boundary of the first viewport is determined by the size of the paper. It's unlikely that the aspect ratio of your paper matches the aspect ratio of the SketchUp model window. If the paper is oriented in Landscape mode, the height of the viewport will be set as a percentage of the height of the paper. The width of the viewport will probably get cropped a bit. That depends on the aspect ratios. If you only want a single viewport on a page, set up the scene so the model is well within the resulting viewport. You can use the Advanced Camera tools to show the safe area in the SketchUp model window. Figure out the aspect ratio of the paper you are using and either select a camera with the same ratio or create a custom camera to do that.
