      Hi everyone,

French guy here, sorry for my english πŸ˜‰

I have a problem, we have new computers (windows 11) at work, and new licenses of SU23 (before it was SU20)

Everytime I try to import a DWG in a new model, SU crash.

I try many differents DWG, big, little, old, new, some with only 1 line, everytime it crash

It happens on others computers to, I don't understand why.

My only solution is to go on old computer with SU20 et open it after my new SU23 and it work.

Anyone have this kind of issue?

I try to send a email to Trimble 1 week ago but not response at this time 😒

      Thanks for your time!

Can you share the DWG file? I am running 2023 on a Windows 11 PC and would be wiling to test it for you. I so far have not had ANY problems with DWG files with my setup.

          Thanks for your answer!

New test today, and it works fine for me, with any type of DWG file, miracle! Maybe a little upgrade?

But it doesn't work for my colleague, that had the exact same computer and same version of SU23 πŸ˜•

The safest way to import DWG files is to ensure that they are saved back to an old version of the DWG format. I tend to save back to the AutoCAD r14 / LT97 DWG format.

Is it possible to test for my DWG version? I also get an error every time I log in to another device
