Abandoning 2023

This morning I ran into a couple more issues with 2023.
One: objects moved to another tag are not staying there. Nothing I did worked. Even restarting did not fix this issue. This is bad. Hopefully isolated to this one file but still...
Also upon changing scenes the "On Faces" checkbox in the shadows dialog kept unchecking itself. Why?I work at breakneck speed most of the time and this morning when my boss was over my shoulder (daily) and SU kept glitching out and not working properly I was embarrassed and decided to go back to 2022 for the foreseeable future.
