Full element

Hi Sketchup users

It's maybe this will sound strange to you but this is the first time i need to have a solid element.

How do you create an element where there is no void inside.
If we try to cross it with the camera we will only see the element but never any void inside.
How do you do that with sketchup?
Like a piece of wood, in short, a solid material

SketchUp is essentially a face modeler. There will never be anything inside. If you cut the thing off you need to create a new face at the cut. Just as with cutting a piece of wood, you never see anything but the exposed surfaces. Wtith Section Cuts you can use Section fill to hide the opening.
In practice it doesn't matter that there's nothing inside the volumes.
