Does there exist a plugin that allows you to make some 3D text and copy it along a curve?

Are you referring to 3D Text? As rv1974 suggested you can use Flowify or Shape Bender although they will distort the glyphs. Are you thinking of wrapping text around a curved wall or are thinking of something similar to this?
