Mod Sideboard

While my “breakfast nook” was rendering decided to model up a sideboard for the parts bin. Modeled a “lightweight” version for rendering use. Decided to do a full blown copy with all the bits. Don’t do it very often. Great respect to DaveR, davidheim and others who typically model their furniture with all the joinery.

. The reference picture I used credits the design to Arne Veder.Going to own up to one boo-boo I just now noticed , I should have lengthened the “flap stays” . Just pulled them out of the parts file and as is their not really long enough for the length of the fall flap. With that mentioned have always wondered why these large fall flaps seemed to be so popular back then ?
