Do you mean you can't install it because it is an .rbz ?
If that is the problem, rename the .rbz to .zip the extract the .rb to somewhere you can find it and move it into the plugin folder.

πŸ˜‰ Just the opposite. It won't install because it's and .rb. I then tried to rename to .rbz and that did not work either.

I am using the Extension Manager as there is no other way to install extensions. Extensions no longer shows in my Preferences.

Thanks again for the help. πŸ‘

With the extension manage click the Install extension button and navigate to the .rbz
Better still install the sketchucation tool and install it from there.

I haven't had to do it in a long time. Am I right--aren't you supposed to compress the file then change from .zip to .rbz?

The file that downloads from the link I gave is an .rbz, if for some reason it downloads as an .rb you can either zip it and change that to .rbz and use the install extension button (can't remember what version added this) or just drop the .rb directly in the plugin folder.
The .rbz was brought in to make it easier when there was a bunch of files and folders needed to run a plugin and it was complex to put them correctly in the plugin folder.
This specific one is just one single .rb
I tested both the .rb and the .rbz before posting the link to make sure it was still working.

Thanks, I'll try that link. I used the old one.

It's not critical, but it is perplexing.
