I'm working on creating a model that will define how letters are cut into stone. The incision must be a V shape. I have started and it seems the best way I've found is to hand draw lines on the face of the 2D letter to the center of the shape and then select those edges and move them back along the Z (green) axis. This works ok but is a little time consuming. See attached.

Do you have a better solution?

      Thanks!

Does it need to come to a point. Fredo's Joint push pull has a molding option that works for lettering.

          Box,

Thank you for your response. Yes it does need to come to a point. Your solution looks like it could save me some time though.
