Set .skp default application?
-
I have both 2019 and 2020 0n my machine. However, double-clicking on a .skp file tries to open it in 2019. I tried setting to 202 through the properties but no go. What is the correct way to set 2020 as the .skp default application?

Run the 2020 installer using right click Run as Admin/ repair.

This is current bug with SU2020. Reinstalling / repair installs won't work.
As a workaround, don't use double click on a file to open a SKP file, open it from within SketchUp2020.

the registry file in the attached ZIP archive should fix this, save the REG file to e.g. the Windows desktop and launch.
Prerequisite: SketchUp Pro 2020 program installation in default program directory:
C;\Program Files\SketchUp\SketchUp 2020\If using another program directory you can edit the path by opening the REG file with a text editor (not text processor) as e.g the Windows editor and change accordingly.
