What's a good image and hoto viewer for Windows? I'm using the one that came with Win 10 (photo viewer?) but I don't like it, mainly because I can't use the scroll wheel to zoom in.

Irfanview is a fine piece of kit, a little limited but not a problem for ten years now.

I have used FastStoneImage and Irfanview...but for pure photo i use now Affinity Photo who is like Tosphop but at 27€99 (during the Covid period so don't miss it) for Life with updates! 😎
(Same for Affinity Designer like Illustrator and Publisher like InDesign)
And if you have an Ipad it's 10€99 for Aff Photo & Aff Designer! (a gift ! 😉

I've been using Irfan view for 10+ years now I think. Fast, lightweight and it can do some basic stuff so you wont have to fire up Gimp (gamma, scaling, change file formats, etc). Don't forget to install the additional plugins for support for additional file formats.

                  edit: spelling
