Sketchup is a 3-dimensional drawing application that is undoubtedly its ability to produce stunning civil design works, most of the interior and exterior building designers often use this one application. besides being easy to use, Sketchup is very light to work on devices with low composition.

Like other CAD applications, in Sketchup you have to set your own unit of measurement (inches, millimeters, centimeters, meters, etc.) in advance so that the resulting image matches what you specify.

for those of you who are still confused about how to set / measure units in the Sketchup application, you can follow the steps below.

First, open the Sketchup application on your computer / laptop, then click Window then select Model Info; see the picture below.

then change from Format: Architectural to Decimal to bring up the units of measure Inches, Feets, Millimeters, Centimeters, and Meters. For example here I am using a Centimeter measuring unit with a Precision value of 0.0cm.

      Hope this article helps

This post heading is misleading, it looks more like a question rather than a 'How To'.
It might be an idea to rename your post with the prefix: 'Tutorial'. As in:
Tutorial: How to Change the Sketchup Measurement Unit
You might also mention that plugins are available to change units on the fly. Very useful, for example, when reading boatbuilding plans.

I am curious as to why you wished to share these very basic settings. Is this something you have had difficulty with?
        Cheers, Baz
