Joint Push Pull plugin problem - edge lines don't show

Hello, I'm not sure the exact terminology but I have tried to joint push and pull some of the edges don't 'extrude' ie the push/pulled shapes are curved faces.
Please see below. At first I thought it may have been an issue with my imported DWG which I turned into faces using the plugin eneroth face creator, but I created the faces seen in the image and I had the same issue with the edges.
Can anyone please advise why I'm having this issue please? Thanks
