Is there an update for the Driving Dimensions plugin? I have looked everywhere but it only seems to exist up to Sketchup 8. If there isn't does anybody know of anything similar? I regularly need to resize/ edit models and think this function would bring a little more CAD like precision to dimensions and sizing in Sketchup. Thanks

You have pro version, why not use layout?

Hi Juju, thanks for the reply. Yes I use Pro and have LayOut, I havn't used LayOut much yet but was planning on using it to add annotations and dimensions after I've drawn up my model.

My issue is that when actually drawing my models in Sketchup I regularly have to adjust and re-edit the sizes of them and although this is all possible in Sketchup, its not as easy as it could be. From what I've seen on the 'Driving Dimensions' video this plugin bridges a gap for dimensioning workflow, it allows you to type in dimensions on an x,y,z control bar instead of having to work out how much you want the size of your model to go up or down by to reach your required size, you simply type in the sizes(Like you would in the other programs I use Illustrator and Cinema 4D) and it updates it accordingly. This also means you always have the sizes readily available rather than having to selct the measuring tool or add dimension annotations. The tape measure dimensioning ability is good, but still not as hands on as an interactive dimensions pallette.

I'm presuming the Driving Dimensions isn't available any more as I can't find it anywhere, but if you know different or have alternative techniques for doing what I need to do then I would be very grateful!
