    Hi Dave, really great render.

I found myself here because I'm actually in the process of restoring one of these for my brother, but it's missing the smaller knob and need to fabricate. Wondering if you list any of your renders on any marketplaces? Would like to purchase the sketch file, if possible..

PS - Noguchi called the piece "Measured Time"

    Best,

    Ron

Thank you Ron. It's cool that you have one of these to restore.

My models are generally not available however I might consider extracting the small knob from this one for you. The knob was modeled from photographs with no actual dimensions and I've never had the pleasure of seeing one of these clocks in person so I can't say it is perfectly accurate. Certainly the back of it wouldn't be detailed but I suppose you could deal with that. How would you fabricate the knob?

Superb render! I just went scrolling past the mesh in the 2nd image looking for the 'real' render until further posts had me backtrack to the start.

Hi dave, couple of fine renders... I do not believe that you are still keeping KT alive! So nostalgic, both model and engine

Thank you, sir. As for Kerkythea, it works just fine so I've never seen any need to leave it for another renderer.

I missed this one the first time around! Really nice modeling and render. Especially looks like the model was done in native tools (?) How did you texture the dials? From a photo? is there a glass or plastic shape modeled over them?

Thank you Peter. I used the Circle tool and Fredo's BZ_Spline tools to draw the curves and Follow Me to create the 3D shapes. The faces are images from the real clock.

I genuinely thought the first image was the reference photo you used for modeling the clock! Beautiful work! I also didn't know Kerkythea was still around, I haven't used it since I first started working with Sketchup some ten years ago.

Yes. It's still around. This was done in Kerkythea yesterday.
