Hello. I am new to the forum and look forward to learning from my time here. I usually have been able to work through problems I encounter with my models but this one has me stumped.

I am dropping solar modules on a 3D mesh with the tilt of 31 degrees. This is not a flat surface but a slope. After dropping, the panels end up vertical on my 3D model. It does not matter if I select tilt or relative tilt when placing the modules nor does it matter if I select "drop coplaner to the surface" or "drop without rotation". I have tried different modules, changing the camera perspective, deleting and replacing the modules to no avail.

I have been able to perform this function on other models but for some reason not on this particular model.

Thank you for any guidance you can give me.
