A Quick Workbench Mashup

The other day a fellow mentioned on a woodworking forum that he is planning to build Phillip C. Lowe's small workbench like so:
He just about got a virtual slap down because it doesn't have a tail vise like Garrett Hack's bench does.
Of course it's easy enough to modify the design.

Thank you, sir. The line style is called Pencil Sketch which is included in the 39 Pencil Effects collection. The image of the mashup is a simple combination of three different images to show a bit of the insides.

They are nice styles, indeed! You should be able to use them on both unless your boss doesn't like them.

but I will try it again and again because the sketchyness is a much more suitable form to transport concept ideas where there is no room for too deep detailing or all the rendering effort at all ... -
Very good. I often use sketchy line styles for client presentations when I want to keep the finer details in the model rather vague. I do that either because I want to communicate to the client that the design process is not complete or because I don't want to give them too much information until I've got their money.
I often need to add more details in a model early on than I want to show them. -
