[Plugin] DoorMaker

No problem Paul. You have forgotten more Ruby than I'll ever know.
Guess we'll have to leave it up to other interested parties.
Thanks,

Thanks a lot for this .

Unfortunately Doormaker.rb which I use most days malfunctions when used in SU2014Pro.
On initial startup if you don't change any of the option selections Door Maker inserts a simple door correctly.
It will also accept different sizes for frame/leaf etc.
Select any of the rebate options; panel types; kicker; nameplate options and it only creates an outline of the door.Shame cos it's one of my must have plugins....
Anybody have the time and inclination to look at this with Ruby 2?

I have updated the script to v2.1 which will now be compatible with v2014.
I also took the opportunity to module-ize it and swap the hundreds of $ variables for @ and enduring @@ ones.
Get it from the PluginStore http://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=DoorMaker -
Thanks, TIG...!
I really enjoy using this little gem from time to time... -
Wow TIG
So fast........
Many Thanks for this. -
Hi Paul, I love this script it saves so much time.
A question though, can the width of the door leaf where the handle sits be changed to match the other side? In most residential doors these are equal, well here in the UK at least.
Also the doors always appear relative to the red axis, is there a way to set them on the green?
I have looked in your instructions but can't see if this is documented anywhere. All the best

Well great PlugIn ..
Improvement wishes :
1/ It would be to have door as a instanced component, while modifying the D-00 leaf, all the other instances would change too ..
2/ Can you have a full glass door (clarit) without a frame around it
Thx, and best regards from France

Hi Paul
Liking the door maker but doesn't seem to operate properly in 2015?
When trying to insert it in a wall on another axes (other than the red one) the door doesn't orientate itself to that axes (ie is always set for being on the red axes)
Hope that makes sense???regards
Bill

DoorMaker was written in 2007 for Google SketchUp. The thread shows an update suitable for Sketchup 2014. I am using the last freestanding 2017 version. What must be updated for me to use DoorMaker? I am a savvy woodworking; not a ruby programmer. Help please?
