"Isolate" group/component
-
Thank you very much!
But i get this at startup...
-
Plugin not working. Please fix
-
Ok, i got it working...
I just copied the structure of some other plugin, so i don't know if this is the correct way to do it. But it's working.
There is only one problem: it doesn't check the actual display status, so if one of the two hide options is already active, the function will be messed up.
For me it's working, but i think the more elegant way would be, if it could synchronize both options.I tried to place the entry in the existing "Component Edit" submenu, but with "add_submenu" a second entry is generated. Is there a way to add it to the existing submenu?
-
sorry, i literally threw it there in passing. i will get a better version done in the next couple of days. as Numerobis says, with some awareness of the current statuses.
-
No problem. Thanks for putting this together! It's already working.
-
ok, a bit of a fast fix but see if this works better
-
on windows you can use this - put is as a menu under 'View' so you can assign a shortcut.
-
Yes, it works! Very cool. Thanks!
Is it possible to add it to the "Component Edit" submenu?
-
unfortunately not, sketchup just adds a duplicate submenu. however if you open the script, you can move it from 'view' to anything you prefer.

Yes, i noticed that as well. Anyway... it just would have been a bit more clean and organized. But that's really a minor thing.
Thanks again for your help!
