The information on Souvenir is maintained on the Plugin Home Page of Souvenir . This is also where you can download the RBZ file.

Fredo6 Souvenir is a utility plugin for Sketchup providing a few productivity tools, currently:

Infinite list of previously loaded models, whereas Sketchup has a limit to 9
Task List a la GoogleKeep, stored by model and at the level of Sketchup (across versions)
Quick access to the Plugin Directory(ies) of the Sketchup environment
Favorites, that is the custom configuration of files, actions and URL links, to be recalled or executed in one click

Licensing of Souvenir

Souvenir is licensed with the new SCF License model of Sketchucation, which is distributed with the Sketchucation Extension Store, as of version 3.1.

The license is COMPLETELY FREE. It is however necessary to activate all features of Souvenir, which are limited when not licensed (history of 9 models, task list with 4 tasks max).

All details on licensing Souvenir are described in the PDF documentation above.

Bonjour Fredo,
Après avoir installer "LibFredo6v7.7e", j'ai installer "Fredo6_Souvenir" sous SU Make 2017.
J'ai le fichier "SCF_Purchased_Licence_Souvenir_Free" mais ne pas le valider.
Quand je clic le bouton "Licence...", ce n'est pas la boîte de dialogue de la licence qui s'ouvre, mais celle dont je joins une capture d'écran.
Merci pour de l'aide.

You need to install SCFLicense itself, which is part of Sketchucation ExtensionStore v3.1.3 .

ExtensionStore provides also a cool way to autoinstall plugins in one click and manage them afterwards.

Merci pour la réponse rapide.
Je n'utilise pas SketchUcation pour l'installation automatique des plugins, préférant le faire manuellement pour conserver le fichier ".rbz" original.
Je viens donc de déroger à "ma règle" et d'utiliser ExtensionStore avec succès, et de constater qu'un fichier est automatiquement crée sur mon disque dur en : C:/User/Name/AppData/Local/SCF Licences.
Donc tout fonctionne.
Il ne me reste plus qu'à découvrir toutes les subtilités de Souvenir.

Any idea what is causing these (false) warnings to appear at every SU launch ?
I also get one for Curvizard, one for FredoTools, etc..
Everything is up to date.

Do you have a 'slow' machine.

The best would be that you send me the Trace Log txt file (in Window > LibFredo6 Settings... > View Trace Log File. There is an export function.

By chance, did you migrate to High Sierra ?

I meant the licensing scheme.
Yes, for my own plugins. Did not find any info on this licensing.

With slbaumgartner, we found the cause of the problem with High Sierra. As you may know, it comes with a new file system (APFS), which puts some mess in Sketchup, because now plugins are loaded in random order instead of alphabetic order.

I have prepared some fixes which are under tests.

Hello Fredo,

Looking forward to trying this plugin and licensing system out. I do have a question before I try it out though. I use your "Additional Plugin Folders" to manage plugin distribution at my school and ensure all of our computers get updated versions of the plugins on a regular basis. Thus, I have two questions:

The default Souvenir license is for 5 seats. Is it possible to get a higher seat allowance for the plugin, or would one need to obtain multiple licenses, and then how to install/manage those?
Will this upcoming system work in a similar way to the limited seat count, and are there any other considerations to take? I'm like to ensure I can keep up with whatever changes in SCF licensing and still be able to manage plugins across multiple machines.

Well, good question:

SCFLicense requires installation on each device. Indeed the 'purchased' license file you got from Sketchucation can seat on a shared drive, but you need to create a local license on each PC: this is what is called License Validation.
Souvenir license is FREE, so you can actually download the license several times so that you can have enough seats for your students.
However, for other plugins where there is a commercial licensed distribution (like ClothWorks recently published by Anton_S), the number of seats does matter.
For Schools, the answer could be to have a larger number of seats, as well as possibly free or discounted licenses.

This is more a question that I will address to Sketchucation and which can be solved.

As a final note, SCFLicense requires license installation on each PC only once. When a next version of the plugin or a next version of Sketchup comes, you do not need to revalidate. This, I guess, should ease your maintenance.
