Making Glazing Transparent when exporting to DWG

I have glazed external balustrading in my model. The glazing displays ok in Sketchup. My dilema is that the balustrading becomes translucent when exporting to DWG format. The only work around that I have found is to detelte the glazing surface in Sketchup. Are there alternative methods to displaying what is behind the glazing when exporting to DWG?
