Hmmm, perhaps more something like a worn felt to my eyes. Very good work though. πŸ‘
I especially like the "no idea of what this is" material.
How is your experience with that Substance thing btw? The interface looks really intimidating and most of the mats I've seen around have, IMO, a bit a C-Games taste.
Oh, I guess you've already seen these: https://www.arroway-textures.ch/en/products/designcraft-2.πŸ˜‰

            Ciao Massimo. Buona sera.

The Substance thing is great. Given that you're referring to an intimidating UI, I'm assuming you're talking about Substance Designer. That app is indeed a tad frightening, to say the least. I'm not using Designer, though -I'm using Substance Painter. Not nearly as intimidating. Fun, too. Allegorithmic's got really decent free tuts on YouTube.

As far as materials go, I don't actually use full blown Substance mats. I use Painter to, well, paint dirt maps, displacement maps, masks for blending between materials and so forth. Works great.

I'd noticed Arroway has new stuff, yes. That pack looks tempting. But they really should do cardboard. Lots of it.

            Felt, eh? Dammit. πŸ˜„

Yeah ... That's Substance Designer. Nodes and stuff. I'd not be able to explain what a node is if my life depended on it.

Using Painter's not hard, though. Seriously: it's good. Give it a spin.

Ah, that's no good. Oh well.

I don't use a Wacom, no. Been wanting to get one, though. Should come in real handy.

As for Designer -a single screenshot of its UI makes me feel like I'm quite possibly the dumbest person this side of the Urals.

No need to rub it in, Allegorithmic! πŸ˜„
