SU Pro 2017 and SU Pro 8

My company just installed SU Pro 2017 on my machine. But now, when I try to launch SU Pro 8, I get a bugsplat and the application launch ends. After re-starting the computer, if I launch v.8 first, no bugsplat. But once I launch v2017 and close it, I can't re-launch v.8 without the bugsplat.
I thought these versions can run simultaneously? Any suggestions?
Running Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit machine.

might be an issue with the OpenGL suppor of the used video driver... intel HD/Iris and AMD Radeons are known for this.... update the graphics card driver first and if e.g. a notebook with integrated and dedicated video system ensure that SU is running on the dedicated graphics card (see 3D options of graphics card control panel).
You also may want to click on the "View Report Details..." of the Bug Splat application for evaluating the exact cause of the problem as e.g. an affected runtime library (DLL) denoted:
