Merging two terrains surface
-
I am trying to model the terrain of my property. I have a detailed contour map of the area around my home to be but I have to resort to google maps terrain for the remainder of the 13 acre area. I want to merge these two surfaces together using the more accurate survey where available. I think I need to cut a hole in the google earth mesh for the perimeter of my pad survey and then need to stitch the two together. I have struggled with how to do this for some time so ideas on strategy would be appreciated.

Seems native Tool Sand Box will be your friend!

My "Clip or Trim Terrain Mesh" should do that for you.
