It seems likely that the following error message from Install-CheckUp.exe references an incorrect MS Hotfix:
It appears the necessary Hotfix is KB2999226, not KB299926, as that's what comes up in all web-searches. I have not been able to verify this via installation, but KB299926 does not appear to exist.

which version of Window are you using? Also, 32-bit or 64-bit?
