Which Remote Desktop App?
-
Hi guys,
I'm going on vacations but would like to use my desktop to create some render jobs that my laptop can't handle.
I was thinking of controlling my computer online from my laptop to make it do the heavy stuff.
I wonder if any of you has some experience in using your desktop remotelly from a and what app do you use for that?
Do you find it's secure?
Thanks in advance,
João

I use "Chrome Remote Desktop".
It's very easy to use. It's Google Authentification, so very secure.
I find it faster/smoother than TeamViewer. -
Thanks Thomas, Teamviewer was my first guess so I'm heading your direction!

Remote Desktop from Windows should work too without the need of another software.

Thanks Corry, windows doesn't recommend it for internet use, which is a bit silly.

Earlier I was testing different software for controlling my desktop computer with the help of laptop in my living room. I found the best one to be Anydesk when considering performance and quality. I actually use Sketchup and Unity3D with help of this remote software. Anyway, I have not really tested Anydask over the internet.
