    fan-leg table.pngI've been meaning to model this coffee table, by the noted Finnish architect Alvar AAlto, for some time. Finally got around to it today. Aalto designed the original in the 1960s and used the fan-leg motif on several other pieces. Rather than use a plug-in, I did the fan shapes with native SketchUp tools; wasn't too hard, once I figured out where the center of rotation would be. I've attached a png image of the model as well as the model itself; the lines in the png get too thick.

                    Thanks, everyone. Dave Richards has taught me well: Draw only what you need, then make as many copies as you need. So here, a quarter of the table was all I needed.
